The terms that apply when you shop with BANDIA.
About us
This website, www.bandia.ie, is operated by BANDIA of Glenlough, Kilcrohane, Co. Cork, Ireland (“we”, “us”). By ordering from this site you agree to these terms. Contact: bandia@fastmail.net / +353 (0)87 972 3821.
Products
Every BANDIA piece is cast and finished by hand. Slight variations in finish, patina and detail are part of the nature of handmade work — no two pieces are perfectly identical, and such variation is not a defect. Product photographs are as accurate as screens allow.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken securely at checkout through Stripe, our payment provider, which accepts payment in a wide range of currencies. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors; if an error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.
Orders and dispatch
An order is accepted when we confirm dispatch. As pieces are made and finished by hand, please allow the dispatch times shown in Shipping & Returns. If an item is unavailable we will contact you with the option of waiting, choosing an alternative, or a full refund.
Cancellation and returns
Under EU consumer law you may cancel your order up to 14 days after receiving it, and return it for a full refund within a further 14 days — see our Shipping & Returns page for how. This does not affect your statutory rights, including remedies for faulty goods.
Wholesale orders
We supply a small number of shops and heritage centres by arrangement. Wholesale prices are not published on this site. If you would like to stock BANDIA, get in touch and tell us about your shop; if it is a good match we will send you the current price list. Wholesale invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. We send payment details with each invoice: bank details for a transfer, or a Stripe payment link if you prefer to pay by card. Shipping and handling on wholesale orders are charged to the buyer. The cancellation rights above apply to consumer purchases only, not to trade orders.
Intellectual property
All designs, text, photography, and the books and maps sold on this site are protected by copyright. They may not be reproduced without our written permission. If you would like to use an image, a design or a piece of text, email us and ask.
Liability and law
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
